The Bugaboo Donkey 5 is available in three unique configurations to accommodate growing families. In Mono mode, it's suitable for one newborn or one toddler, with a side luggage basket that carries an extra 22 lbs. If you have more than one child, the Duo or Twin set-up is ideal for sibling connection as the side-by-side geometry lets them ride at the same height. In Duo, it’s configured for one newborn and one toddler, or two toddlers. In Twin, it’s configured for two newborns, or two toddlers to ride together.
How do I fold a Bugaboo Donkey 5?
You can fold the Bugaboo Donkey 5 as a one-piece self-standing fold or as a two-piece compact fold.
To fold it as a self-standing fold with seat or bassinet included:
1. Adjust the handlebar to the lowest setting.
2. Adjust the seat and/or bassinet to line up with the direction of the handlebar.
3. Push the security lock with your thumb while pulling the white triggers upward to release the handlebar to the floor.
4. Lift up the center tube and bring the wheels together to create a self-standing fold. And you’re done.
To fold it as a compact fold:
1. Remove each seat or bassinet unit by pressing the memory buttons and lifting up.
2. Unclip the three latches on the front, back, and handlebar.
3. Adjust the handlebar to the lowest setting.
4. Press the white button in the middle of the chassis and pull the frame together into single mode.
5. Hold down the buttons on the handlebar and push down on the frame, then use the middle bar to pick the stroller up. And you’re all set.

1. Remove the side luggage basket.
2. Unclip the three latches on the front, back, and handlebar.
3. Press the white button in the middle of the chassis and slide the stroller open to the right.
4. Snap all the white clips back closed. Put the second seat or bassinet onto the chassis. And you’re ready to go.
